AWSS Versatility Titles

Versatility title (VT):

• 10 points for any combination of the 11 categories
• points from at least least 3 different venues/events above the 1 point level.
  
• highest pointed title must be a working title

Award: AWSS VT title Certificate

Versatility title excellent (VTX):

• 16 points from any combination of the 11 categories
• titles from at least 3 different "venues/events"  above the one point level.
• highest pointed title must be a working title

Award: AWSS VTX title Certificate

Versatility Champion (VTCh):

• 21 points from any combination of the 11 categories

• titles from at least 4 different venues/events above the one point level

• highest pointed title must be a working title

Award: AWSS VTCh title Certificate

Points awarded as follows:

• Only highest achievement in each venue applies.
• Points for titles in different venues at the same level can be added together.
• A maximum of 3 points can be earned from the 1 point categories.

Examples:

A dog with a NA and a NAJ gets 3 points
A dog with a NA and a OAJ gets 4 points
A dog with a CD and a NA gets 6 points
A dog with an OTCh and a HC gets 14 points
A dog with an OTCh and a G-OCH gets 7 points.
A dog with an HTCh and a WTCH gets 7 points.
A dog with an ADCh and a MACh gets 7 points.

Award of merit or WD, WB, RWD, RWB, BOB at the sheltie national
1st-4th place win at the obedience invitational, the agility invitational and any agility national with over 50 participants in a given height class.
High in trial at an all-breed herding trial (any venue)
*Extraordinary Performance points are only awarded once for each unique accomplishment

Maximum of 1 point total from each section in category.

CGC, TDI, CKC CGNT, Temperament tested
Pack Dog (PD), Outdoor Dog (OD)
Herding instinct test (any organization)
level 1 CPE "R" title

Section B

Agility games - 1 point for any agility game title from any organization listed above
FD (Flyball dog), Top Flight Novice (TF)
CKC PCD (pre-companion dog)

Section C

Genetic testing - 1 point for all three:
OFA prelim or final certification
CERF clear
Thyroid normal - lab result showing T3, T4 and TGAA at normal levels

Titles must be documented as follows:
Attach copies of title certificates
Attach award report from issuing organization

In the event that a deceased dog has earned this award, application must be made to AWSS within 12 months of the death of the dog.

Only members of AWSS, in good standing, are permitted to apply for the versatility awards.
